Hey! This was absolutely lovely! I really liked the way you portrayed Francis and Arthur, their little arguments, the latter's ignoring the first in the shops, in sheer pride ^^. That was a beautiful and cute birthday fic! And I sure was surprised at the end! Little perv' I am, thought Arthur wanted a bit more than this amazing kiss XD!
If I may say, however, a few little mistakes on the French parts. The French 'What do you want' is actually 'Qu'est-ce que tu veux'. Yeah, I know, that's not obvious, but French is complicated. And... Don't really know about the 'Anglais' nickname thing. I mean, that's the exact translation of "British", OK, but if a French wanted to call a Briton with a nickname, that would be "Rosbeef". It would be a bit derogatory but mostly affective in Francis's mouth. 'Anglais' just put like that doesn't sound very natural to a French-speaker. If you really want to use that peculiar word, use 'l'Anglais' ; the article changes everything. Again, joys of French. And plural at the end, 'mes amis'. Oh. And I almost forgot: Urrrrgh! Never put a good bottle of wine in the fridge. That's blasphemy. Never. Ever. XD
Anyway, don't mind the French, your fiction was lovely, I loved it, your writing style is great and I really think you do have talent. Please continue and update more!
